Rentals | The Priciest (and Cheapest) Neighborhoods To Rent In Chicago

June 13, 2014

The numbers don't lie.

Zumper, a rental search site, has aggregated data from last month to give us a clear picture of what your dollar gets you in each Chicago neighborhood.

Keep in mind these are median prices, not average, so they really do a good job of depicting what most units are renting for. For some renters who have been grandfathered year after year with a low rate this may come as sticker shock however this is now the market we are in and I don't see rents dropping anytime soon (well maybe in the winter).

For many this map will solidify that renewing your lease (even with an increase) is the way to go. Or if you're looking to change things up reach out to me to discuss your needs and budget so we can determine the best place to call home.
